What to expect from an asbestos or lead inspection:
- Perform a thorough asbestos building survey identifying and sampling all accessible suspect materials following the AHERA guidelines.
- Perform destructive sampling of building materials in discrete locations to identify hidden materials and minimize structural impact.
- Collect bulk samples of all suspect materials that will be disturbed and submit those to an accredited laboratory for a layer by layer analysis.
- Quick lab results and comprehensive reports in about one week so your project can proceed as quickly as possible.
- Interpret lab results for each sample and document where asbestos containing materials were found noting the type of asbestos, location, condition, approximate quantity, and NESHAP category.
- Consultation to assist in making decisions to manage the removal or maintenance of asbestos or lead in place.
